Focus on what you can control

Many times we can enraged and frustrated over things that are out of our control in a competition. But the most empowering thing is to just focus on what we can control and don't worry about the rest. Don't worry about what the other guy is doing, what the other guy is saying, what people are saying about you, what critics will say afterwards, bad referee call, bad conditions surrounding the game, nagging injuries, not feeling your absolutely best on game day, or the myriad of factors which can arise outside of your control. Just focus on what you can do like train hard, practice, keep your spirits up, keep you mind right, focus, stay relaxed and breathe during competition, stick to the game plan, and have a sense of play and fun to achieve optimal performance.
