It gets to the point where you're okay with whatever takes place in the cage and you can just flow effortlessly and fight to your peak level of performance during competition. It also alleviates the fear of these situations in combat and releasing that anxiety allows one to not push on their mental emergency brake; so one can go out and just execute all techniques which have been trained in a calm and relaxed manner.
